Clifton 100 Lodge was founded to unite local communities and provide a space where Freemasonry could thrive closer to home. Today, we remain dedicated to that vision by fostering inclusivity, strengthening bonds among members, and creating meaningful connections within our community.
We strive to be a welcoming Lodge that honours its founding principles while adapting to the needs of the modern world. By continuing to support local initiatives, build lasting friendships, and uphold the timeless values of Freemasonry, Clifton 100 Lodge aims to be a cornerstone of fellowship and unity in Bedfordshire.
Clifton 100 Lodge is more than a traditional Masonic Lodge; it’s a brotherhood built on support, camaraderie, and shared purpose. We strive to create a welcoming and inclusive environment where members can forge meaningful friendships, build a strong support network, and enjoy shared experiences within Bedfordshire’s vibrant community.
While we remain firmly rooted in the timeless principles of Freemasonry—integrity, kindness, and charity—we also embrace a modern approach to fostering connections and making a difference. Whether through charitable initiatives, social events, or simply coming together to support one another, Clifton 100 Lodge stands for fellowship, fun, and community.
Freemasonry is one of the largest charitable contributors in the UK, donating over £50 million each year to local and national causes. Through the Masonic Charitable Foundation (MCF), we support vital initiatives such as helping children with disabilities, funding research into life-changing medical treatments, and aiding individuals affected by disasters. At Clifton 100 Lodge, we take pride in being part of this incredible legacy, making a real difference in the lives of those in our community.
Clifton 100 Lodge meets four times a year, offering a welcoming and supportive environment for members to come together, share in Masonic traditions, and strengthen bonds of fellowship. In addition to our formal meetings, members are encouraged to participate in our Lodge of Instruction, held on Monday evenings, which provides an excellent opportunity to deepen their knowledge and understanding of Freemasonry.
At Clifton 100 Lodge, we pride ourselves on being an inclusive and diverse community of Freemasons. Our members, ranging from seasoned Freemasons to new initiates, share a strong sense of camaraderie and support. As a member, you’ll have the unique opportunity to connect with our sister lodge in London, allowing you to expand your Masonic journey beyond Biggleswade. Additionally, many of our members also attend Chapter, offering new initiates a clear route to further progress in Freemasonry. Whether you're seeking personal growth, lifelong friendships, or the chance to contribute to meaningful causes, Clifton 100 Lodge provides a welcoming and enriching environment.
